Nice Bright Night Light
I got the amethyst light, and it is perfect for a nightlight- just bright enough that you don't stumble into things in a dark room. I love the lit-up gem look, and it's very handy that it automatically turns on when it senses darkness.

Beautiful
I needed something different and beautiful for my new, completely redone master bath. The colors are white and gray with natural light wood cabinets. I wanted a nightlight that looked beautiful. I looked at several websites. I bought the amethyst color and it just looks beautiful and calming. It makes me feel good when I look at it. I very much like the fact that it comes on automatically depending upon the light in the room.

Lovely nightlight!
The light is well made, the sensor works great and the illuminated crystal is just beautiful at night. I'm so glad I got this. The light itself is very cool toned/blue. Just be aware if you're a warm light lover like myself. Not a deal breaker, though.

Beautiful
Just had a baby a couple of months ago and I needed a night light for late night feedings and changes. This light is perfect. It's beautiful. Gives off plenty of light without being too harsh. I purchased the clear quartz. Light is a bright white color. I love that the sensor senses light and turns on and off automatically. There is no on or off switch so beware if you have a room that is darker during the day the light may not turn off. I'm very happy with my purchase. I would definitely purchase again.

Beautiful light source
There is nothing I don't like about this night light. It sheds a nice, cool, bluish light, soft on the eyes but quite illuminating. My apartment is set up such that I can see the light shining from the bathroom into my living area (where I sleep). It's enough to safely guide me to the bathroom at night, but not so bright that it disturbs my sleep. Plus, it's just beautiful to look at.

Can the amethyst nightlight be turned on and off manually, or is it strictly motion sensired?

It does not turn on manually. It turns on automatically when a room gets dark, and it shuts off when it's daylight.

Hello, thanks for your questions! I have three answers for you. 1) The night lights are made from natural Amethyst crystal points! 2) Each stone is unique and will vary in size slightly. They are approximately 1.5"L x 1.5" W x 1.4" H. 3) Unfortunately, it does not turn on manually. Happy holidays!
