Issue with leaking

I received this as a gift, and I had a similar experience to another reviewer where it worked perfectly initially, but over time all the oil leaked out, completely saturating the wood holder and through it, getting all over the counter. Not ideal.

Works Great!

I love how this works. It is easy to use with no mess. I use it on my wooden cutting boards, spatulas and bowls. It is much easier and less wasteful than a wipe or rag. I liked it so much I got one for my sister-in-law.

Loved...and then disappointed

Received this item and it worked beautifully. I loved how easy and cleanly it spread the oil on my wooden cutting boards. However, after having it for about a month I have realized it was slowly leaking all over the storage container and even onto the cabinet it was sitting in. It had been a few weeks since I'd used it last and it was full. When I checked on it again it was basically empty. Not sure if the mechanism is broken or that's just the nature of it. But it's not ideal that the place that it's stored actually is also allows the oil to leak out slowly.

Great tool for the kitchen!

I love every aspect of this tool! I can use the oil of my choice. Refilling the oil is easy. Using the tool is straight-forward. My hands don't get oily. I especially love the base that the tool sits in... simple, no worries of it falling over or spilling any oil.

Great For Quick Oiling

I have a 9' x 12' Butcherblock island and while I oil it monthly there are times during the month when I need to touch it up and this product is awesome for that. No more dragging out the bottle off oil to do a 2' x 2' patch just a quick swipe with the tool, let it soak and a quick wipe with a clean rag.
