The cards are a great quality and the art is beautiful. I plan on buying these for other friends and family who have good taste in music. We had my brothers over for a card game and they learned a little more about the greats. A perfect reason to play all of the artists in the deck.

Beautiful fun cards that are a discussion piece
All the generations of our family had fun with these cards - obviously we can play card games with them. but we also had discussions about the musicians portrayed on each card. The teens, gen-xers and baby boomers each knew some of the musicians and were able to talk about them to each other. Gorgeous art. The only down side is that some of the Black musicians do not look like themselves (like Beyoncé) - they have white features. That also created discussion in the family!

Fun Gift
I purchased this deck as a stocking stuffer and it was a huge hit! The recipient prides themself on musical trivia and lyrics, they spent the rest of Christmas morning thumbing through the deck. I can see this also contributing to game night, and having a playlist that corresponds with the artists featured on the cards.

Are there 52 different artists in this deck? If not, how many copies are there of an artist? Say, if Prince is one of the cards, are there 2 Prince cards? 4 Prince cards? Do the multiple Prince cards have different pictures of Prince? Just using Prince as an example. I want to get this as a gift for a friend and I'd like to know how many times artists are repeated.
